Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: Budapest (Embarkation)
Board the ship at 1600hrs(4:00pm). Time to settle comfrotable in your cabins before meeting the crew. Welcome cocktail. Dinner on board. Optional folklore evening in Budapest.
Day 2: Budapest - Bratislava
Breakfast on board. At 0800hrs(8:00am), departure of the boat and optional guided tour of Budapest, the Belle Époque city par excellance, the incarnation of the sharp contrast between twin cities divided by the Danube and united since 1872. You will discover: Buda, the haughty, with its winding streets, Baroque palaces, its Turkish bathhouses and its royal palace. Pest, the bubbling, which has a proud mix of architectural styles. Back to the boat for lunch. Departure of the cruise at 13:00hrs to Bratislava. Dinner on board and lively evening.
Day 3: Bratislava - Vienna
Arrive at 0700hrs(7:00am) in Bratislava and breakfast on board. Around 8:30am, departure for the optional guided tour of Bratislava. Dominated by the north slopes of the southern tip of the Little Carpathians bathed in the Danube, Bratislava occupies a privileged geographical location. The charm of the Slovak capital is its old town: splendid baroque palaces, churches and pleasant squares. Back on board for lunch and cruise departure towards Vienna. Evening arrival at Vienna. Dinner on board and free evening or optional tour of Vienna illuminated.
Day 4: Vienna
Breakfast on board. Free morning in Vienna or optional tour of the castle of Schoenbrunn, Summer residence of the imperial family and a part of Vienna, the imperial city and birthplace of the music. Back to the boat for lunch. Free afternoon in Vienna or optional tour of the Hofburg, the Habsburg Palace houses the crown jewels and sumptuous imperial apartments. Back to the boat for dinner. After dinner, an opportunity to attend concert of Viennese music (optional, depending on availability). Departure of the boat during the night.
Day 5: Melk - Passau
Breakfast on board. Cruise up the most beautiful part of the Wachau. Arrive in Melk around 9:00am. Departure by coach for a optional excursion to Durnstein, the most famous picturesque village of Wachau. Famous for its legend of King Richard the Lion Heart, Durnstein houses a baroque church. Back to the boat for lunch. In the afternoon, optional tour of Melk Abbey. Atop a rocky outcrop which overlooks the Danube from a height of over 50 m, it represents the most complete development of the Baroque Art in Austria. Back on board and departure of the vessel around 1600hrs (4:00pm) in the direction of Passau. Evening and gala dinner.
Day 6: Passau (Disembarkation)
Breakfast on board. Disembarkation at 9:00am. End of our services.
