Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: SEVILLE
Check in from 5.00 pm. Settling into your cabin and presentation of the crew. A welcome cocktail will be served in the lounge, followed by dinner on board. Free evening in Seville. Overnight stopover
Day 2: SEVILLE – CÁDIZ
Breakfast on board. Optional guided tour of Seville. Art and enchantment have left their mark on the city of Seville. Set off to explore the cathedral, the Alcazar Palace (closed on Mondays) and its Andalusian gardens, the Maria Luisa Park and the seductive district of Santa Cruz. Back on board around 1.00 pm. Departure of the cruise and lunch on board. Sailing on the great river. This name with dance sonorities bears the time imprint, when the Moors reigned over Al Ansaluz. It rises in the east of Andalusia and flows for over 650 km, shaping the landscape, from meander to meander. We will sail over the Donana Park, awarded by UNESCO as “natural Biosphere reserve”, and Sanlucar de Barrameda , where the river enters in the Atlantic Ocean. Arrival in Cádiz in the evening. Dinner on board. After dinner, time at leisure or an optional flamenco evening (depending on availabilities). Overnight stopover.
Day 3: CÁDIZ – JEREZ – CÁDIZ
Breakfast on board. Optional excursion to Jerez, capital of wine and horses and cradle of flamenco song. A panoramic tour will enable you to see the Alcazar and the cathedral. Your tour will continue with a visit to a “ganadería” (a property where bulls are raised), the chance to learn about this living symbol of Spanish culture. Back on board for lunch. In the afternoon optional guided tour of Cádiz. This marvellous white and blue city will surprise you with its cultural and historic richness. Back on board, dinner and an evening with the crew. Departure around 8.00 pm for Alcoutim. Sailing at night.
Day 4: CADIZ – ALCOUTIM (the Algarve) – VILA REAL (PORTUGAL)
Breakfast during the cruise. Sailing on the Guadiana. Sailing up the river to Alcoutim or Sanlucar de Guadiana. This river is pure delight, fabulous landscapes, villages which time has forgotten. Arrival in Alcoutim around 10.30 am, a typical Algarve village. Time at leisure. Back on board for lunch and departure of the cruise for Vila Réal de St Antonio (or Ayamonte) which we will reach around 3.00 pm. Time at leisure in Vila Réal, town centre and beach close to the mooring, or optional excursion to Faro. Departure by coach for Faro which was originally an important centre for Roman trade and then a Moorish city, before becoming an important provincial city after the Christian conquest in 1249. In 1580, the city was elected to the rank of regional capital. Walking tour of the old city, the castle and the cathedral. You will also see the exteriors of the convent, the seminary and the bishop's residence. Free time, then back to Vila Réal de San Antonio (or Ayamonte). Dinner on a Portuguese theme on board followed by a Portuguese folk evening. Overnight stopover.
Day 5 : VILA REAL (Portugal) – SANLUCAR DE BARRAMEDA
Departure early in the morning. Breakfast during the cruise. A morning's sailing on the Gulf of Cádiz to Sanlucar de Barrameda. Lunch during the cruise. Arrival in Sanlucar de Barrameda around 3.00 pm. Departure for the optional visit to a cellar of renown during which the secrets of these specific “Manzanilla” wines will be revealed to you. There will then be an equestrian show which will take you to the heart of another tradition. Back on board. Dinner. Overnight stopover. DAY 6: EL PUERTO DE SANTA MARIA – the ROCK OF GIBRALTAR - SEVILLE Departure during the night for El Puerto de Santa Maria. Breakfast on board. Leisure day in El Puerto de Santa Maria. A great tourist centre, the town, which is 2800 years old, is bursting with historic sites. The wines are also responsible for the fame of this town, as are its beaches where you will be able to take a stroll and enjoy the sunshine. Lunch on board or day optional excursion to Gibraltar (please note that non EU citizen might need a visa to enter Gibraltar). Route to the Rock of Gibraltar. After lunch in a restaurant, guided tour of this peninsular which, with its resident colony of Barbary apes, is the pearl of the bay of Algeciras. Stops are scheduled during the tour: Europapoint from where you can see the Moroccan coastline and Saint Michael's Cave famous for its stalactites. Back on board and departure of the cruise at 7.00 pm. Dinner followed by a gala evening. Sailing towards Seville.
Day 7: SEVILLE – CÓRDOBA – SEVILLE
Breakfast on board. Day devoted to the optional tour of Córdoba. Departure by coach in the morning heading for Córdoba, the City of the Caliphs. Guided tour of the city. You will discover the mosque-cathedral, a veritable forest of columns, no less than 856, adorned with jasper, granite and precious marble; the Juderia, the former Jewish quarter and its white lanes adorned with flowers and its typical houses opening onto their superb patios. Lunch in a restaurant. Free time then back to Seville where our boat is moored. Dinner on board, free evening.
Day 8 : SEVILLE
Breakfast on board. Disembarkation at 9:00 am . End of our services .

Prices Include:
The cruise on full board from dinner on the first day to breakfast on the final day, the drinks included in onboard meals ( wine, beer, fruit juices and one coffee), accommodation in a double cabin with shower and WC, the welcome cocktail, the assistance of our hostess on board, entertainment, the gala evening, the folk and flamenco evenings and port taxes.
