Detailed Itinerary: Amsterdam to Brussels (ABR)
Day 1: Amsterdam (Embarkation)
Embarkation in Amsterdam between 5:00 and 6:00pm . Time to settle in your cabin. Welcome drink and presentation of the crew in thge lounge. Dinner on board. Optional visit of the Old Town by launch. Overnight stop.
Day 2: Amsterdam Beakfast buffet on board. The morning will be dedicated to an optional guided tour of Amsterdam. Discover Dam Square, the Royal Palace, the Currency Tower, the flower market, the windmill on the River Amstel. On road, stop off at a diamond-cutting workshop where you will see how a "pebble" is transformed into a precious stone reflecting the light. Back on board for lunch. In the afternoon, free time or departure for the optional excursion to Vollendam, an old fishing village on the Ijsselmeer (formerly the South Sea) and Zaanse Schans (or the Zanish Redoubt), which is an open-air museum giving an idea of what life was like in Zaan region 150 years ago. See authentic Zanish houses, a clog factory, and the famous windmill. Back on board at about 6:00 pm. Free evening or optional transfer to the city centre for a walk through the Red Light District.
Day 3: Amsterdam - Rotterdam
After breakfast, optional visit to the
famous Keukenhof Flower Park (open on April and
May), the largest bulb flower park in the world. The
beds of flowers are laid out in natural surroundings
where the tulips, narcissi, hyacinths, etc. are each
more beautiful than the others. After May we offer an
optional excursion to Delft, a charming town dating back to the 17th
century and known throughout the world for the painter
Vermeer and its potteries (visit).On the way back,
there will be an optional visit of
Madurodam,
a miniature city famous worldwide, and the ideal place
to discover all the curiosities of Holland. Here you
will find everything that makes Holland famous,
reproduced to the last detail on a scale of 1:25.
In the meantime the boat will continue along Utrecht
where you will join it for lunch. The boat continues
on its way to Rotterdam.Dinner
and farewell evening on board.
Day 4: Rotterdam - Antwerp
Departure of the boat early in the
morning for Antwerpen passing through Dortrecht, where
we will enter the Holland Diep (inland sea),
then taking the Volkerak and Kreekak locks. After the
Dutch-Belgian border, we will sail up the Escaut to Antwerp,
one of the largest ports in the world. The Old Town
has retained the charm of the old Flemish cities with
its narrow streets and vast squares lined with houses
with stepped and scrolled gables and high glazed
facades. Dinner on board and free evening in Antwerp or walk around the Old
Town guided by our hostess.
Overnight stop.
Day 5: Antwerp - Brussels
We will leave Antwerp early in the
morning. Breakfast as we cruise. Morning spent cruising to Bruxelles.
Lunch on board. We will reach Bruxelles at about 2:00 pm. In the afternoon, optional guided tour of the city,
capital of Belgium. With its innumerable treasures, Bruxelles seduces and charms the visitor. Combining
its Gothic heritage with the Renaissance, Art Nouveau, not to mention Art Deco and Classicism
through to modern glass and steel towers, it is a welcoming and attractive city. Dinner and gala evening
on board. Overnight stop.
Day 6: Brussels (Disembarkation)
Breakfast on board. Disembarkation at 9:00am. End of our
services.

Day 1: Brussels (Embarkation)

Day 2: Brussels - Antwerp
Breakfast on board. Morning devoted to the optional guided tour of the city, the capital of Belgium. The riches of Brussels are infinite. It is a city of seductive charms. Back on board. Lunch and departure of the cruise for Antwerp. We will reach Antwerp at around 8:00pm, one of the biggest ports in the world. The old town has retained the charm of Flemish cities with its narrow streets and immense squares lined with gable houses. Dinner on board. Walk exploring the old city in the company of our hostess. Overnight stopover.
Day 3: Antwerp - Rotterdam
Departure of the boat early in the morning. Breakfast and lunch during the cruise. We will sail up the Schelde/Escaut and cross the border between Belgium and the Netherlands. Then through the Kreekak and Volkerak locks. We will finally enter the Holland Diep (inland sea) before reaching Rotterdam at around 4:00pm. This is a day steeped in the sailing experience. Dinner and an evening's entertainment on board. Overnight stopover.
Day 4: Rotterdam - Amsterdam
After breakfast, departure of the cruise for Utrecht. Lunch on board. In the afternoon, departure by coach for the optional visit to Madurodam, a miniature city famous throughout the world. This is the ideal place to explore all the sights of the Netherlands in miniature. You will find everything that makes Holland famous, reproduced in the slightest detail at a scale of 1:25. During this time, our boat will sail on to Amsterdam where you will rejoin it at the end of the afternoon. Dinner on board, followed by an optional tour of Amsterdam by night in a river boat.
Day 5: Amsterdam
Buffet breakfast on board. The morning will be devoted to the optional guided tour of Amsterdam. Along the way, a visit to a diamond-cutting works. Back to the boat for lunch. Free time in the afternoon or departure for the optional excursion to Volendam, an old fishing village on the shores of the Ijsselmeer, and the Zaanse Schans, a picturesque village which offers a glimpse of life in the Zaan region 150 years ago. You will discover authentic Zaanland houses and the famous windmills… Back on board at around 6.00 pm. Free evening or walk through the Red Light District.
Day 6: Amsterdam (Disembarkation)
Breakfast on board. Disembarkation around 9:00am. End of our services.
