Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: Strasbourg (Embarkation)
Embarkation in Strasbourg will take place between 6:00-7:00
PM. Time is allowed to settle into the cabins prior to a cocktail
reception to introduce the captain and the crew. This is followed
by dinner on board. After dinner, an optional night tour by river
boat through old Strasbourg is
offered. Overnight in Strasbourg.
Day 2:
Strasbourg - Rudesheim
Set sail from Strasbourg early in the morning for Rudesheim.
Breakfast is on board the ship. We will pass alongside many
charming towns with interesting sights, including Speyer and its famous cathedral, the impressive ports of
Ludwigshafen and Mannheim, Worms (Episcopal city) and Mainz. Lunch
is on board the ship. We arrive in Rudesheim at about 4:00 PM where cruisers have free time for individual
sightseeing and shopping, or to go an optional sightseeing tour.
Dinner is on board the ship. The evening is free and you are
encouraged to take in some of the night life on the famous
Drosselgasse where people from all over the world savor the local
wines while they sing with the Rhine bands at the clubs and
taverns. Overnight in Rudesheim.
Day 3: Rudesheim - Koblenz (Disembarkation)
Breakfast is on board the ship with departure from
Rudesheim scheduled for 9:00AM.
Sailing north, we enter into the Loreley region of the Romantic
Rhine River. As we glide along at a leisurely pace, you will have
plenty of time to admire the beautiful castles nestled in renowned
vineyards, along with the legendary Loreley Rock. Lunch will be
served on board the ship at 11:00 AM with disembarkation from the
ship in Koblenz at approximately 2:00 PM, thus ending your scenic cruise.
