Boarding in Lyon around 5.00pm at Claude Bernard quay before the ship sails towards Collonges au Mont d’Or where we will moor right in front of the restaurant belonging to the famous French chef, Paul Bocuse. A coach will take you to Collonges Abbey, just half a mile away, to savour a marvellous banquet in a magnificent setting in the Grand Limonaire room in the Abbey, where you will dine accompanied by the sweet music of an ancient organ. Discover some of France’s finest dishes beautifully prepared with the best quality local products. Return to the ship after this memorable dinner and end the evening in style in the lounge. The ship cruises on over night towards Macon.
Day 2: MACON – CHALON SUR SAONE THE MACONNAIS AND BURGUNDY
The ship sails early morning, reaching Tournus around 12.15pm. Lunch on board before leaving by coach on an excursion (optional) through the Burgundy region : Côtes de Beaune, Pommard, Volnay, Auxey-Duresse, La Rochepot and its superb castle, Puligny, Montrachet and Chagny, then on to Givry, Buxy. Taste some of the local vintages at the Hospices in Beaune. The ship sails on in the meantime to Chalon sur Saone where we will board again early evening. Dinner on board. Overnight stop in Chalon.
Day 3: CHALON SUR SAONE – MACON – LYONS
The ship cruises on towards Macon stopping off on the way for a two hour shopping spree around 10.00am. Back on board for lunch. At 2.00pm, we will moor in Montmerle. Set off by coach to visit the “Wine village” in Romanèche Thorins which is unique in its kind in Europe! Return to the ship in Trévoux before cruising back towards Lyon. Dinner and a gala evening on board. Overnight stop in Lyon.
Day 4: LYONS
After breakfast, disembarkation. End of our journey.

The cruise on full board from dinner on the first day to breakfast on the final day, accommodation in a double air conditioned cabin with shower and WC, entertainment, the grand gastronomic dinner with Paul Bocuse in the Abbaye de Collonges in the Mont d'Or, the assistance of our hostess on board, the gala evening and port taxes.
