DAY 1 Koblenz
Embarkation in Koblenz will take place around 2:00 PM for
those passengers arriving by motorcoach from Strasbourg with lunch
scheduled at 1:00 PM at
a local Koblenz restaurant. Time is allowed for these
early arrivals to settle into the cabins. In the afternoon, they
will enjoy a visit to the 'old town" area of Koblenz which is
led by the ship's hostess. Return on board in time for dinner with
the evening free in Koblenz. Please note that embarkation for
later arrivals is also possible around 6:00 PM. Overnight in
Koblenz.
DAY 2
Koblenz -
Rudesheim.
Departure of the ship from Koblenz at about 8:00 AM with
breakfast on board. Our cruise today is on the most beautiful part of the Romantic Rhine River
between Koblenz and Rudesheim. We will pass alongside many castles
nestled in the famous vineyards and the legendary Loreley Rock. The
ship is scheduled to arrive in Rudesheim at 5:00 PM. There will be
shopping opportunities and sightseeing on your own until 7:00 PM.
There is also an
optional sightseeing tour offered for those interested. Both lunch
and dinner are on board the ship with the evening free to explore
the clubs, taverns and dance halls found along the famous
Drosselgasse. Overnight
in Rudesheim.
DAY 3
Rudesheim - Heidelberg - Speyer or Mannheim
Breakfast is on board the ship with early morning departure
from Rudesheim towards Speyer. Lunch is also on board the ship. En
route, the ship will pass
alongside the cities of Weisbaden, Nierstein, Worms and Mannheim. There
will be an optional sightseeing tour offered to Heidelberg which
will also include a visit to the famous Heidelberg Castle. Return to ship
in either Speyer or Mannheim,
about 6:00 PM. Tonight, gala evening and
dinner. Cruise overnight to Strasbourg.
DAY 4 Strasbourg
Breakfast on board. Arrival in Strasbourg around 9:00am. End of our journey.
