Day 2 Schiedam, Netherlands & Antwerp, Belgium
Excursion to The Hague, including a visit to the Mauritshuis and, on the return journey, a visit to a manufacturer of the famous Delft porcelain*
The Mauritshuis is a museum housing the Royal Picture Gallery. It includes a large number of masterpieces, among them ten works by Rembrandt, and Vermeer's most famous painting, Girl with a Pearl Earring.
In the afternoon, Patty Witzigmann gives a talk entitled "Peter Paul Rubens - the chap who mixed blood in with his paints!" in which she will provide an insight into the artisits unique character.
Day 3 Antwerp, Belgium
Morning city tour ith exclusive visit to the cathedral, including organ concert.*
In the afternoon, take part in our walking tour, "on the Rubens trail," including a visit to Rubens' house.*
The Cathedral of Our Lady in Antwerp is a famous Gothic monument and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It contains four works of art by Peter Paul Rubens

Bruges in Belgium was once a rich Hanseatic city. Its medieval city center is now protected by UNESCO.
Day 5 Ghent, Belgium & Dordrecht, Netherlands
In the mornig, Patty Witzigmann's talk, "Vincent van Gogh - the colors of passion" will captivate you with talkes of the life, visions and artistic talent of his genius.
Visit to the windmislls in Kinderdijk*
The 19 Windmills of Kinderdijk, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, seem to be standing guard over their picturesque and peaceful setting. In the evening, the chef invites you to a Van Gogh dinner inspired by art.
Day 6 Nijmegen & Amsterdam, Netherlands
Excursion to the Kroller - Muller Museum to see its Van Gogh collection*
Between 1907 adn the middle of the 1930's, Helene Kroller-Muller built up one of the Greatest collections of modern art. It included some 300 works by Van Gogh. In the afternoon, you can work on your own artistic talent with Ulla Schmidt-Pesch.
Day 7 Amsterdam, Netherlands
Morning city tour by canal boat followed by a visit to the Rijksmuseum or a trip to the Van Gogh Museum*
Perhaps teh most famous painting in the Rijksmuseum is Rembrandt's Nigt Watch. The largest collection of Van Gogh's oeuvre is shown in his museum, which also contains works by other Impressionist artists.
