Boarding in Lyons around 17h, quai Claude Bernard. The boat will cast off for Collonges in the Mont d’Or where we will stop by Paul Bocuse's restaurant. Departure by coach for the Abbaye de Collonges(1), 700 metres from the restaurant, for dinner in the Salle du Grand Limonaire. You will discover the most traditional and renowned cuisine in France, made from the best, market-fresh produce. The Abbaye de Collonges will open its doors to you on a resplendent setting for a banquet surrounded by a unique collection of lovingly restored hurdy-gurdies. The sound of the hurdy-gurdies will fill your heart with joy. After this grand dinner, back on board where we will repair to the lounge to round off the evening. The boat will sail on to Mâcon.
2nd Day:
MACON – CHALON SUR SAONE THE MACONNAIS AND BURGUNDY
Departure of the boat in the early morning for Tournus. Arrival around 12h15. Lunch on board. Departure by coach for the optional excursion around Burgundy. tour of the “Côte de Beaune”: Pommard, Volnay, Auxey-Duresse, La Rochepot and its wonderful chateau, Puligny Montrachet, Chagny, and then on to Givry, Buxy; during this tour, there will be a wine tasting and the visit to the Hospices de Beaune. The boat will sail on to Chalon sur Saône. Back on board around 19h30. Dinner and evening on board. Overnight stopover in Chalon sur Saône
3rd Day: CHALON SUR SAONE – MACON – LYONS
Departure of the boat for Tournus and Mâcon. At around 10h, 2h stop to do some shopping. Back on board, lunch and departure of the cruise. At 14h, stop in Montmerle, optional tour. Departure by coach for Romanèche-Thorins to visit the "Hameau du vin", the only museum of its kind in Europe. Back on board in Trévoux. Continuation of the cruise to Lyons. Gala dinner and an evening's entertainment in the lounge. Overnight stopover in Lyons.
4th Day: LYONS
After breakfast, disembarkation. End of our journey.
