Day 1: Cologne, Germany (Embarkation)
Individual arrival in Cologne. Embarkation on the RCII at 15.00 hours. Departing for Nijmegen at 16.00 hours.
Day 2: Nijmegen, The Netherlands
Excursion to the Kröller-Müller Museum including its famous Van Gogh collection*
Helene Kröller-Müller Museum's passion for collecting contemporary art at the beginning of the last century led to the formation of a substantial collection of impressionist works. The extensive work of van Gogh is today's most famous part of the museum's collection.
Departing at 13.00 hours. In the afternoon, our jounrey takes us through the port of Rotterdam, the largest sea port in Europe and the third largest in the world. Arriving at 20.30 hours in Schiedam, Netherlands.
Day 3: Schiedam, Netherlands
Excursion to Gouda with organ concert in Sint-Janskerk*
The Gothic Sint-Janskerk is the longest church in the Netherlands and famous for its stained glass windows. Departure at 13.00 hours towards Ghent, Belgium.
Day 4: Ghent, Belgium
Excursion to Bruges.*
Traders and seafarers, predominantly from Venice, Genoa and Florence, were already travelling in and out of Bruges in the 13th century. Surrounded by medieval walls, the old part of the city was built mainly in the Gothic style. Protected by UNESCe, the lively city of today has its own unique kind of charm. Departing at 14.00 hours towards Antwerp.
Day 5: Antwerp, Belgium
City tour with exclusive visit to the cathedral and organ concert.*
This city knows how to combine an elegant way of living with the understanding of art and cultural variety.
Day 6: Antwerp - Dordrecht, Netherlands
Visit to the windmills in Kinderdijk.*
The 19 polder mills at Kinderdijk used to regulate the water levels and drain the land. Now, they enjoy a well-deserved retirement and are protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Departing at 18.00 hours towards Amsterdam.
Day 7: Amsterdam, Netherlands
City tour by canal boat and visit to the Rijksmuseum .* In the afternoon, excursion to Keukenhof.*
Keukenhof shows how colorful spring can bem with its sea of millions of tulips, hyacinths and daffodils.
Day 8: Amsterdam (Disembarkation)
09.00 disembarkation. Individual departure.
