Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Amsterdam, Netherlands (Embarkation)

Individual arrival in Amsterdam. Embarkation on the RCII at 15.00 hours. Departing at 16.00 hours for Scheidam.

Day 2: Scheidam, Netherlands

Excursion to Gouda with organ concert at Sint-Janskerk *

The most significant historic buildings in Gouda surround the city's large marketplace. This is still where the city's most famous product - Gouda cheese- is sold today. Departing at 13.00 hours for Antwerp Belgium.

Day 3: Antwerp, Belgium

City tour with exclusive visit to the cathedral and organ concert.*

The Cathedral of Our Lady is a masterpiece of Gothic architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. RCII departs Antwerp at 06.00 hours towards Ghent.

Day 4: Ghent, Belgium

Excursion to Bruges.*

The old Hanseatic city of Bruges is enchantingly vibrant and captivating with its medieval flair. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 5: Dordrecht, Netherlands

Visit to the windmills in Kinderdijk.*

The 19 Kinderdijk windmills were constructed in the 19th century and are protected by UNESCO.

Day 6: Nijmegen, Netherlands

Visit to Floriade 2012 in Venlo.*

The Floriade World Horticultural Fair only takes place once every ten years and provides the opportunity for you to marvel at international garden designs. Its motto is "Experience nature!".

Day 7: Amsterdam, Netherlands

City tour by canal boat and visit to the Rijkmuseum* In the afternoon, excursion to Keukenhof.*

Amsterdam's famous canals have brought the Dutch capital the nickname of the Venice of the North.

Day 8: Amsterdam, Netherlands (Disembarkation)

River cruise in the booked cabin category, welcome champagne in your cabin, all meals (six per day) from early-bird breakfast to the exquisite 4-course evening menu with a choice of three options, 2 five-course gala dinners during the trip, vintage wines from reputable vineyards or beer at lunch and with the evening meal, all softdrinks throughout the cruise, all alcohol-free tea and coffee specialties, mineral water on the excursions, fresh fruit basket in your cabin (replenished daily), Emails can be sent free of charge from the on-board laptop, free use of bicycles available on board for land excursions, English-speaking tour guide and all port fees.
