Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Oltenita (Bucharest) - (Embarkation)

Individual arrival in Bucharest. Embarkation on the RCII at 16.00 hours.

Day 2: St. George, Romania

The RCII yacht glides past kilometre zero today and reaches the Black Sea. Discover the small fishing village of St. George.

Day 3: Cernavoda, Romania

Day 4: Cernavoda, Romania

Excursion to Constanta and Mamaia on the Black Sea Coast including lunch.*

At the start of the 20th century, Mamaia was a cosmopolitan seaside resort, where the rich aristocracy and nobility used to meet.

Day 5: Russe, Bulgaria

Excursion to Veliko Tarnovo and Arbanassi with lunch.*

For some two hundred years, picturesque Veliko Tarnovo was the capital of the Bulgarian tsarist empire.

Day 6: Nikopol, Bulgaria - Oryahovo, Bulgaria

Overland excursion to Pleven, including a visit to the Svetlin Rusev art gallery and lunch.*

Pleven has numerous museums, a rich cultural heritage and a lively arts scene.

Re-embarkation at 15:00 hours in Oryahovo folowing excursion.

Day 7: A Day on the River

Over millions of years, the Danube has created a spectacular riverbed for itself - the Kazan Gorge is over 100 kilometres (60 miles) long. The narrowest point is the Iron Gate.

Day 8: Belgrade, Serbia

City tour including a visit to the Royal Palace.*

Belgrade's chequered past has been immortalised in stone and in the atmosphere of the city. It is the political, cultural and economic centre of the country.

Day 9: Mohács, Hungary

Overland excursion to Pécs.*

Charming Pécs, is one of the oldest cities in the country. It is a youthful and lively place with a great deal of southern charm. Re-embarkation at 17:30 hours in Kalocsa following excursion.

Day 10: Budapest, Hungary (Disembarkation)

09.00 disembarkation. Individual departure.
