Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: Passau, Germany (Embarkation)
Individual arrival in Passau. Embarkation on the RCII at 16.00 hours. The RCII passes through the loops known as the Schlögener Schlinge. The meandering Danube almost forms a complete circle here.
Day 2: Melk, Austria
Visit to the baroque Melk Abbey. *
Founded in the 11th century, renovations and extensions carried out during the baroque period make the abbey truly stunning - both inside and outside.
As it sets off, The RCII passes through the Wachau, a picturesque riverside landscape in a region of Austria famous for its orchards and vineyards. We arrive in Vienna at 18.00 hours. You have time to take an evening stroll around town.
Day 3 : Vienna, Austria
City tour with exclusive attic tour of the St. Stephen's Cathedral.*
The symbol of the Austrian capital is St. Stephen's Cathedral yet not many people know about what can be found high up in the attics.
In the evening, option to atend various concerts.*
Day 4: Vienna, Austria
Visit to the morning training session at the Spanish Riding School, with exclusive reception and tour of the Hofburg Palace.*
The Hofburg, the former residence of the Imperial Habsburg family, is now a museum that provides an insight into the private lives of the former ruling dynasty.
Day 5: Budapest, Hungary
City tour.*
Budapest's rich history stretches back to its time as a Roman military camp. It was at that time that the foundations for a world-famous tradition were laid - wellness. Many of the bath houses, built in the ornate art nouveau style, are still standing today. Those who missed the arrival in Budapest in the morning will be able to adminre one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the city as we set off.
Day 6: Bratislava, Slovakia
City tour with concert in the old town*
Bratislava has a friendly charm, historical glamour, a modern cultural life and a futuristic outlook.
Day 7: Dürnstein, Austria
Walking tour of the town with wine tasting.*
Dürnstein is a picturesque spot with a castle, the ruins of a fort, an abbey and a convent. The RCII yacht passes through the Wachau and the Strudengau region.
Day 8: Passau Germany (Disembarkation)
09.00 disembarkation. Individual departure.
