Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Nuremberg, Germany (Embarkation)

Individual arrival in Nuremberg. Embarkation on the RCII at 16.00 hours.

Day 2: Bamberg, Germany

Tour of Bamberg including its famous old town .*

More than 2,000 listed buildings in the old part of Bamberg are protected by UNESCO.

Day 3: Wurzburg, Germany

Morning city tour including visit to the Residenz .* In the afternoon, a visit to the Juliusspital wine estate including wine tasting.*

The Wurzburg Residenz, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a highlight of the European baroque period. It provides and insight into the way of life at one of the most resident princely palaces of the era.

Day 4: Miltenberg, Germany

Tour of Miltenberg and excursion to Amorbach .*

Amorbach was built around the monastery of the same name, the ancestral home of the Prince of Leiningen.

Day 5: Gernsheim, Germany - Mannheim, Germany

Overland excursion to Heidelberg. *

By the 18th century, Heidelberg had become a romantic legend and was a city of poets and thinkers. Re-embarkation in Mannheim at 17.00 hours following the excursion.

Day 6: Strasbourg, France

City tour with boat trip through "La Petit France" and visit to the famous cathedral.*

The cathedral is a combination of two architectural styles - Romanesque and Gothic. It is right in the middle of the old part of the city and, along with the historic tanner's district known as "La Petit France", is protected by UNESCO.

Day 7: Breisach, Germany

City tour including the Palace of St. Emmeram Excursion to Colmar in the Alsace region.*

Brightly painted timberwork houses, churchs, small canals and balconies decorated with flowers - idyllic Colmar will inspire your dreams.

Day 8: Basel, Switzerland (Disembarkation)

09.00 hours disembarkation. Individual departure.
