Amenities onboard the Douro Queen:
Cabins
All cabins are outside cabins: Those on the Upper Deck have a private balcony, whereas those on the Main Deck have large, non-opening panoramic windows.
All cabins measuring abt 15 square meters (including balcony space on the Upper Deck cabins), have a shower and toilet, individual air-conditioning controls, hair dryer, safe, music channel and satellite TV.
They are elegantly furnished with either a double bed or two single beds, which can be put together to form a double.
Facilities on board
Panorama Restaurant, Panorama Bar Lounge,
reception foyer, Shop, lift between the Lower and Upper Deck and stair lift from the Upper Deck to the Sun Deck, pool, Sun Deck with awnings, deck chairs, chairs and tables.
Medical
A doctor is within easy reach ashore.
Restaurant / Cuisine
The stylish Panorama Restaurant seats all passengers at a single sitting. On embarkation day you can reserve your table for the whole of your time on board. Allow yourself to be pampered by attentive staff. The tasty, international dishes are attractively presented.
On-board program
Theme evenings, quizzes, bingo and live music are on offer, together with books, board and cardgames.
Payment on board
The on-board currency is the Euro. You are able to settle your on-board account at the end of the cruise in either cash (Euro), with a Maestro card or with a credit card (Mastercard, VISA). Excursions booked on board must be paid for in cash (Euro).
Life on board
The on-board ambience is very relaxed. We recommend smart casual dress, a jumper for cooler evenings and suitable footwear for excursions ashore. We do request a little more formality at dinner. Our Cruise Team is at your service during the whole cruise with help and advice. We have a no-smoking policy, with smoking permitted only on the Sun Deck. |
