Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Seville (Embarkation)

You are welcome on board from 5:00pm. Settling into your cabin and presentation of the crew followed by a welcome cocktail served in the lounge and dinner on board. Free evening. Overnight stopover.

Day 2: Seville – Cadiz

Breakfast on board. Guided tour of Seville on foot. Art and enchantment have left their mark on the city of Seville, “the city of light”. Set out to explore this wonderful city. Back on board at around 1:00pm. Departure of the cruise and lunch on board. Sailing on the great river. As we drift along, you will discover unspoilt nature where fields of cotton and rice rub shoulders with the extraordinary wildlife. We will sail past the Donana Park, classed by UNESCO as a “natural Biosphere reserve”, and Sanlucar de Barrameda. Arrival in Cádiz in the evening. Dinner on board. To round the evening off to perfection, our hostess will accompany you on an exploration of Cádiz by night. Built on a rock and surrounded on all sides by the sea, this fortified city is connected to the mainland only by a narrow strip of sand.

Day 3: Cadiz – El Puerto De Santa Maria

Breakfast on board. Morning devoted to the guided tour of Cádiz on foot which will surprise you with its cultural and historic richness. A city famed for the beauty of its landscapes which make it quite unique. Back to the boat for lunch. Departure of the cruise for El Puerto de Santa Maria. Arrival around 3:00pm. Departure for the excursion to Jerez, capital of wine and horses and cradle of flamenco song. A panoramic tour will enable you to see the Alcazar and the cathedral. Your tour will continue with a visit to a “ganadería” (a property where bulls are raised), the chance to learn about this living symbol of Spanish culture. Return on board. Spanish theme dinner and an evening's entertainment. Overnight stopover.

Day 4: El Puerto De Santa Maria - Sanlucar De Barrameda – Seville

Early departure to Sanlucar de Barrameda, arrival at 8:00am. Breakfast on board. Departure for the visit to a wine cellar of renown where the secrets of these specific “Manzanilla” wines will be revealed to you. Wine tasting. Then, an equestrian display will take you to the heart of an entirely different tradition. Back on board for lunch and departure of the cruise for Seville. Dinner on board. Arrival of the boat during the evening.

Day 5: Seville – Granada – Seville

After breakfast on board, departure by coach for the excursion to Granada. Guided tour of the city. Ringed by the imposing mountainous barrier of the Sierra Nevada, Granada, famous for its lively atmosphere, is built on three hills: the Albaicin, the Sacromonte and the Alhambra. This grandiose and verdant site also owes its prestige to its Moorish monuments, especially the Alhambra. You will discover the Alhambra, a palace straight out of the thousand and one nights, the Generalife, the kings' summer residence, etc. Lunch at a restaurant in Granada. First part of the afternoon, freedom to explore Granada, then back to Seville by coach. Dinner on board, free evening.

Day 6: Seville

Breakfast on board. Departure by coach for the excursion to a nature reserve, tour with a forest guide. This is a total immersion in an unspoilt natural area, which has managed to preserve its very specific character. Then on to a bird-watching site, where you will get the chance to discover an amazing variety of bird species: waders, gulls, ducks… Back to the boat for lunch. Free afternoon in Seville. The city's geographical situation, astride Europe and Africa, gives it an undeniable advantage. It makes it a melting pot of Muslim, Catholic and Jewish cultures. This mixture makes this Andalusian city an architectural gem. In the evening, dinner on board followed by a flamenco show.

Day 7: Seville - Córdoba

Breakfast on board. Day devoted to the tour of Córdoba. Departure by coach in the morning heading for Córdoba, the City of the Caliphs. Guided tour of the city. You will discover the mosque-cathedral, a veritable forest of columns, no less than 856, adorned with jasper, granite and precious marble; the Juderia, the former Jewish quarter and its white lanes adorned with flowers and its typical houses opening onto their superb patios. Lunch of "tapas" specialities in a restaurant. Afternoon, free time then back to Seville where our boat is moored. Gala dinner on board, followed by dancing.

Day 8: Seville (Disembarkation)

Breakfast on board. Disembarkation at 9:00am. End of our services.
