Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1 : Arles (Embarkation)

Passengers are welcome to board our ship at 6 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabins, we’ll introduce our crew at a welcome cocktail. We'll enjoy dinner on board. In the evening, join us on an excursion for both packages: Guided tour of Arles, a highly cultural town enriched with vestiges from the Roman Empire.

Day 2 : Arles - Port Saint Louis - Martigues *

*Depending on mooring availability, the stopover in Martigues could be replaced by a stopover in Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône.

Join us for the excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Discover the Camargue. We'll visit a "manade" (bull breeding farm) and learn about how a manadier works with the animals.

DISCOVERY: Safari in jeeps through the Camargue for an original immersion in the wilderness.

The afternoon will be spent cruising to Martigues. Enjoy some free time exploring the city on your own before we set off once again for Avignon.

Day 3 : Avignon - Viviers

Join us for the excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Guided tour of Avignon and the Papal Palace.

DISCOVERY: Hike along the Pont du Gard and visit to the museum.

In the afternoon, join us on an excursion common for both Classic and Discovery excursions packages: Tour of the Ardèche Gorges.

Our ship will cruise to Viviers.

Day 4 : Viviers - Tain L'Hermitage

This morning will be spent cruising. Join us on an excursion common for both Classic and Discovery excursions packages: Discover the Vercors and taste the famous Clairette de Die.

Tonight is our gala dinner and evening. Our ship will cruise to Lyon.

Day 5 : Lyon (Disembarkation) - transfer to Basel (Embarkation)

Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking in Lyon and travel by coach to Basel.

Passengers are welcome to board our ship a. After comfortably settling into your cabins, we’ll introduce our crew at a welcome cocktail. We'll enjoy dinner on board.

Day 6 : Breisach

This morning, join us for an excursion common in both Classic and Discoery excursions packages: A guided tour of Breisach, just one of the lovely riverside cities we’ll visit, along with a wine tasting.

This afternoon, join us for an excursion common for both Classic and Discovery excursions packages: A guided tour of Colmar and the Unterlinden Museum (Note: The museum is closed on Tuesdays. It will be replaced by a visit to the Hansi Museum instead).  Colmar is a colorful city bursting with Alsatian charm. We’ll spend time in the romantic Little Venice neighborhood before visiting the Unterlinden Museum. The museum exhibits span 7,000 years—from prehistoric times to modern art. The most regarded masterpiece in its collection is the polyptych by artists Niclaus of Haguenau and Grünewald.

Join us for dinner and an evening of entertainment.

Day 7 : Breisach - Strasbourg

We'll arrive in Strasbourg early this afternoon. Excursion for common both Classic and Discovery excursions packages: Boat tour of Strasbourg and a visit to its cathedral.

Enjoy an evening of dancing as our ship starts sailing towards Mainz

Day 8 : Main - Koblenz

Join us for the excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Guided tour of Mainz and the Gutenberg Museum (museum is closed on Mondays.)

DISCOVERY: Touring the Rhineland vineyards.

We'll return on board and cruise up the most beautiful part of the Rhine River towards Koblenz, passing numerous castles as well as the infamous Lorelei Rock along the way.

This evening, join our hostess for a tour of the city.

Day 9 : Koblenz - Colgone - Düsseldorf

We'll depart for Cologne, reaching it later this morning. Join us on an excursion common for both Classic and Discovery excursions packages: Guided tour of Cologne on foot. Our tour will allow you to wonder at the majestic cathedral, the old town as well as the famous Fragrance Museum (exterior only.) Enjoy time at leisure in the city before we head back to the ship in Düsseldorf by coach. Tonight is our gala dinner and evening. 

Day 10 : Düsseldorf - Xanten - Nijmegen - Amsterdam

Join us on an excursion common for both Classic and Discovery excursions packages: Guided tour of the open-air museum in Arnhem. Meanwhile, our ship cruises towards Nijmegen where we'll board it again after our tour. Enjoy an evening of entertainment.

Day 11 : Amsterdam (Disembarkation)

Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking at 9:00 a.m. End of our services. 

Departures & Pricing

Advisements:

  • A valid passport is required for travel. Passports must be valid at least 6 months after the last day of travel.
  • Please check visa requirements with your local consulate(s); responsibility for obtaining visas rests with the traveler.
  • For reasons of navigation and passenger safety, the cruise operator and the Captain of the ship reserve the right to modify the itinerary of the cruise
  • Until further notice, it is only possible to select one of the 2 excursions packages on offer. You will thus only be able to book the Classic Package OR the Discovery Package. Please advise at the time of booking the excursion package you wish to choose.
