Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1 : Lyon (Embarkation)

Boarding at 3.00pm in Lyon, quay Claude Bernard. Time to settle comfortably in your cabins. Afternoon spent cruising southwards down the river. Afternoon spent sailing. Meet the crew during a welcome cocktail reception. Dinner on board, followed by an evening of entertainment. Sailing at night.uise

Day 2: Avignon - Arles

Breakfast while cruising. The morning will be devoted to sailing along the main part of the river. A unique trip. Lunch on cruise. Arrival in Avignon around 2.00pm. Visit the ancient citadel Palace of the Popes (optional) surrounded by ramparts and perched on a rock over the river, once a lavish court bustling with artists and scholars. Back to the ship for dinner and a gala evening while cruising on to Arles. Overnight stop.

Day 3 : Arles - Port Saint Louis - Martigues (Disembarkation)

After breakfast, disembark around 8.00am on a sightseeing tour of the Camargue (optional), a huge plain where the sea and marchlands are home to a great number of species of waterfowl. Stroll round the charming town of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, famous for its gipsy gatherings. Its fortified church is well worth a visit! Return on board in Port St. Louis then on to Martigues. Lunch on board before disembarking at 5.00pm. End of our services.
