Boarding between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm in Strasbourg , rue du Havre. Settling into your cabin. Welcome cocktail. Presentation of the crew. Dinner. Departure of the cruise. An evening's dancing on board. Sailing at night.
Day 2: Heidelberg – Eberbach (the Rhine and the Neckar)
Breakfast on board. Stop in Mannheim and departure by coach for the optional excursion to Heidelberg. During this time, the boat will sail to Ziegelhausen where we will join it for lunch. Continuation towards Eberbach on the most beautiful section of the Neckar. Arrival around 5:00 pm. Dinner on board. Overnight stopover.
Day 3: Eberbach – Mainz – Frankfurt (the Rhine and the Main)
Departure of the boat early in the morning. Breakfast on board. We will pass through Heidelberg, one of the oldest university cities in Germany. Continuation to Mainz , a large industrial city, situated at the confluence of the Main and the Rhine. We will be sailing past Worms, a centre for trade and wine, and will reach Mainz around 3:00 pm. We will make a short stop to explore the city with our hostess. Free time and back on board. Departure of the boat at 6:00 pm to take the Main for Frankfurt. Dinner on board. Arrival in Frankfurt around 10:00 pm. Overnight stopover.
Day 4:Frankfurt – Aschaffenburg (the Main)
After breakfast on board, optional tour of Frankfurt. A place of business, a commercial hub, the mixture of ancient and modern will be bound to surprise you. At around 11:00 am departure of the cruise on the most beautiful section of the Main to Aschaffenburg, a typical village in the Main valley. Lunch on board. Afternoon devoted to sailing. Arrival around 6:00 pm. Dinner on board. Overnight stopover.
Day 5: Aschaffenburg – Rudesheim (the Rhine)
Departure of the boat early in the morning. Breakfast on board. We will be sailing up the Main to Mainz to get onto the Rhine. Lunch during the cruise. Arrival in Rudesheim around 5:00 pm. Optional excursion to the music museum and a trip in a little train. Dinner on board. Free evening in the celebrated Drosselgasse, known throughout the world for its atmosphere, its restaurants and its bands.
Day 6: Rudesheim – Cochem (the romantic Rhine and the Moselle)
Breakfast on board. Departure of the boat around 8:00 am and cruise on the romantic Rhine where we will see numerous castles situated in the famous vineyards. We will also pass the celebrated rock of the Lorelei. Continuation towards Koblenz. We will take the picturesque Moselle for our journey to Cochem. Arrival around 5:00 pm. Cochem , a small medieval town dominated by its castle. Optional visit to Cochem castle with its flamboyant Gothic appearance and its incomparable silhouette. Back to the boat for dinner. An evening of dancing. Overnight stopover.
Day 7: Cochem – Bernkastel – Trier (the Moselle valley)
Departure of the boat. Breakfast on board. This entire cruise takes place in an exceptional landscape. You will discover a multitude of small, legendary villages with their vines and castles. Lunch on board. Two-hour stop in Bernkastel, the pearl of the Moselle. Continuation towards Trier. Dinner on board. Arrival around 10:00 pm. Overnight stopover.
Day 8: Trier – Saarbrücken (the Moselle and the Saar)
After breakfast, departure for the optional tour of Trier, a town bursting with Roman remains. Arrival of the boat around 12:00 pm in Sarrebourg and back on board for lunch. Continuation in the direction of Saarbrücken. Sailing up the Saar through the “Saarschleife” with its magnificent wooded landscapes traversed by the meanders of the river. Arrival in Saarbrücken in the evening. Dinner and gala evening. Overnight stopover.
Day 9: Saarbrücken – Strasbourg (Disembarkation)
Breakfast on board. Free morning. Lunch on board. Disembarkation around 1:00 pm and departure by coach for Strasbourg. Arrival between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm, rue du Havre. End of our journey.
